Asia Times: Is China building its own Area 51 secret base? 

Satellite images indicate that Beijing has begun work on a similar flight test facility in remote Xinjiang Deep in the heart of the Nevada desert, one of America’s presidential Boeing 707s landed at a mysterious, secret base. 

The date is unknown — possibly late 1950s or early 1960s — but the account is now legend. 

According to the story related by a man who served on board that aircraft, it carried a group of US military brass for an unusual meeting.
