Summit News: Belgian Prime Minister Says New Variant Heralds Arrival of ‘COVID-21’
Claims it’s three times more infectious. The Prime Minister of Belgium says the new mutant variant of coronavirus is so potentially devastating that it should be called ‘COVID-21’.
Yes, really. Alexander De Croo made the comments during a press conference after international markets plummeted in response to the news that the ‘Nu’ variant of the virus had been discovered in Botswana and spread across South Africa.
“You could say that this is Covid-21 instead of Covid-19: it is three times more infectious than the original virus,” said De Croo.

WNU Editor: It is too early to make a medical/health judgement on this variant.
The doctors on the ground in Southern Africa would disagree. But what do they know.

Amazing isn't it. The "COVID 21" variant appears just in the to justify the new lockowns and cover the failure of the vaccines
ReplyDeleteWhile we cannot "know" at this point, we can make inferences based upon experience and the track record of the sources. As such, I'll go with the South African doctors.
ReplyDeleteWhile it isn't known exactly how ivermectin works, studies suggest it appears to work by blocking the actions of certain enzymes that the virus uses to enter cells. If it can't enter cells, it can't replicate which prevents or halts the disease. This treatment should have positive utility against any variant and it has a long track record of use in humans so we know it's safe.
The South Africans have the good sense to embrace this treatment or at the very least to recognize its efficacy and to not demonize it. Essentially they're serious about actually combating this. As for the Beligan PM, he's most likely trying to spread more fear porn and is likely not serious about containing the disease. It's looking more and more like there's another agenda at work here.
show the data that the South Africans are "embracing" the horse work treatment!
ReplyDeleteyou are the one spreading fear, as per your assignment to create chaos. Putin proud of you
How am I spreading chaos? I'm simply pointing out a treatment option that has been shown to have some efficacy. "Show you the data..." Japan and India to name two countries have reported using this option with success. Google can be your friend if used properly.
Delete"Putin proud of you." I have no idea what his position is on this nor is it of concern to me. By constantly bringing him up this appears to be an attempt on your part to distract from the topic at hand. When one's position is weak as yours is, a strategy of distract and insult is often utilized.
Ivermectin is probably not going to be right for everyone. The vaccine isn't going to be right for everyone either though it is likely right for some. Ivermectin is a tried and tested medication and when used in the proper dosage is safe. Given the upside potential combined with minimal downside risks, physicians should be free to prescribe this as a treatment for COVID-19 if they believe it right for their patient and the patient agrees as well without fear.
By trying to stifle a treatment option that has been shown to have positive utility and embracing the punishment of physicians who wish to practice good medicine by considering this option, it is you who is promoting chaos. Matters are made worse by trying to force a dangerous vaccine on people that has limited efficacy. I could go on but have other matters needing my attention at the moment.
South African lab Afrigen tries to replicate the Moderna vaccine
ReplyDeleteyou got the vaccine and now you tell us the horse meds good? stop your nonsense
I can understand why SA would want to replicate the vaccine as it is likely right for some people. I don't expect them to discontinue the use of ivermectin either. Based upon what I can tell they actually seem to be serious about fighting this unlike our "western" governments. The "horse meds" have a variety of uses including combating river blindness
DeleteAs for my decision to get vaccinated, I've detailed this many times including my current position on this. Essentially as more knowledge is gained it becomes more apparent how dangerous this vaccine is as well as the limitations on its efficacy. At this time, I will not be getting the boosters. The vaccine makers are going to need to improve their product.
Typically European politician! A PM know better than a doctor.....
ReplyDeleteok. I used google and again you are wrong or lying
ReplyDeleteIvermectin
Several social media posts claiming Japan is using Ivermectin, an antiparasitic drug, to treat Coronavirus over vaccines as a preventive measure are widely being shared on both Twitter and Facebook. Newschecker’s investigation found the claim to be false as Japan has neither approved Ivermectin for treatment nor have they dropped the vaccination drive.
No one said Japan has dropped the vaccine drive. The vaccine is probably right for some people. It's important to have a number of options. The vaccine is not going to be right for everyone and should not be forced on anyone.
ReplyDeleteIvermectin appears to work by halting the production of enzymes that enable the virus to enter cells. When denied such entry the virus is unable to reproduce. This also seems helpful in fighting active infections as well.
I don't recall anyone saying Japan had "approved" the treatment. At least they don't seem to be actively trying to punish medical personnel who want to have this option as they are in the US.
Personally I tentatively like Ivermectin as a preventive measure. The method it appears to be using to block entry into cells would likeky mean it has utility against any variant unlike the vaccine. Also, with many decades of human use we know if used properly it's safe. This is in contrast to the very dangerous and improperly tested vaccine.
I'm not lying nor do I appreciate being accused of it. Google is an excellent tool but it works best if you know how to use it properly. It's well known that the patent company attempts to block content it doesn't like.
Finally, if you want the vaccine and you want the boosters, by all means go for it!! No one is holding you back and if you don't want Ivermectin it's certainly not going to be forced on you.:-)
