CIA Director William Burns Visits Moscow To Meet Russian National Security Council Head Nikolai Patrushev

RT: Top Russian security chief met with CIA director Burns amid worsening relations  

CIA director William Burns visited Moscow to discuss the ever-worsening Russian-American relations, meeting with National Security Council head Nikolai Patrushev, the presidential body has said in a statement. 

The brief statement, issued by the National Security Council to the media on Tuesday, did not mention any details from the meeting. 

The CIA boss came to Russia alongside “a delegation of high-ranking US officials,” the US Embassy in Moscow told RIA Novosti. 

The officials are meeting Russian government officials on November 2-3 “to discuss a number of issues in bilateral relations,” the mission added.
