Reuters: Western States Need United Front Against Divisive China - Trudeau

TORONTO (Reuters) - Western countries should have a united front against China to prevent the Asian state from using commercial interests to play them against each other, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in an interview aired on Saturday.

Trudeau said China has been "playing" Western countries against one another as they compete for access to economic opportunities in the country.

"We've been competing and China has been, from time to time, very cleverly playing us off each other in an open market, competitive way," he said in an interview with Global television.

"We need to do a better job of working together and standing strong so China can't play the angles and divide us one against the other."

WNU Editor: This is not like Trudeau to target China in such a manner. Like his father and former Prime Minister, he has long been accused of being sympathetic to China.

  2. Trudeau is not serious. He is merely bloviating.]

He looked at the political landscape and he hears more talk about China as a threat so he mimics it.

If he were serious he would enlarge the Canadian navy beyond the 12 frigates and 4 subs. He would do likewise with the air force and army. He would try to solve ship availability, meet with allies like South Korea, Japan and Taiwan prominently and tour the Canadian military bases.

No, I think multi-kult and CRT are higher priorities for the boy.

  7. I don't think anyone is serious about confronting China at this point. If the Biden Administration feels threatened or if the leadership class believes Hunter is in danger of being fully exposed, they may try and take us to war against China. In such a scenario, I expect our "allies" will tire of us very quickly as they seek to protect their trade and other relations with China.

Trudeau can call for a "united front" against China. He's not actually going to have to act on this nor would Canada be likely to take major casualties should the US find itself in a shooting war with China.

    1. All you have to offer is insults of me. You're the one whose trolling.

It isn't unusual that leaders start wars when they need a distraction. Based upon my assessment of the people involved itcua my considered opinion that our leadership class will take us to war tovtry and protect President Biden and/or his son.

Also, they are perceived as weak by many. I'm pretty sure they know this and decisive action on their part to try and prove they're tough and strong may be taken regardless of how America's interests are affected.

Obviously I may be wrong. Time will tell. I pray I am wrong and war can be avoided. It would be helpful if you would discuss the article instead of insulting me.

Perhaps you understand the facts aren't on your side. Essentially all you have are childish insults. This strategy is employed regularly by our leadership class. When policies can't be defended, attack the messenger.
