WNU editor being watched by the GF's Rottie while recovering from Covid
Last Thursday I was feeling tired, headache, and running nose. My mom had a mild cough and a running nose. My girlfriend was feeling OK
Friday the same thing.
On Saturday the GF felt sick. My symptoms and my mother's remained the same. Did a rapid test and found out that I was positive for Covid.
Went on Sunday for a PCR test. But I only learned yesterday (Wednesday) that it was positive.
On Monday my mother and I were already feeling good.
We definitely felt recovered on Tuesday.
My GF fully recovered yesterday. I know because she has been complaining since then. 🙂
We are all double vaccinated.
I would describe what I experienced as a case of the flu without the "bite" of the flu.
The one who has suffered the most has been the dog. She had to endure us during this time of quarantine, and will need to do so for a few more days.
The contractor must have saved a bundle on those doors.

ReplyDeleteIndoor closet.
Glad to hear the recovery was short and not very bad! Sounds like the shots did their job. All the best.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're on the mend! Any idea how/where you caught it? Keep well hydrated and have an O2 sensor handy. Give the good bone some extra snacks!! Prayers for you and family's continued recovery. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteVery glad to hear that you and your loved ones are recovering. Especially your mom. Also very interesting to read your symptoms. Hopefully this COVID mess is on a sharp decline.
ReplyDeleteAlmost finished! 4 boosters to go!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dog, whats his name?
ReplyDeleteWhen you say double vaccinated does that mean 2 shots plus booster?
ReplyDeleteGlad you and your family are on the up and up!

ReplyDeleteMy 95 year old mother has a personal trainer who comes once a week to give her some weight and mobility exercises. She found out a day after she was at our home using a rapid test that she was positive with no symptoms.
Fazman
Mazikeen (Maze for short).
She is only 11 months and already weighs 110lbs. She does not have a bad bone at all, and has been incredibly easy to train. She is a blast to fight and wrestle in the snow, and she loves going to the dog park to meet her buddies. She is what any dog owner wants to have in a dog.
Prayers for your complete recovery, WNU Editor.
ReplyDeleteWNU,
ReplyDeleteMazikeen?
You watch the show Lucifer? I find it to be funny and irreverent.

It is not me. It was the GF who named her. And yes she is a fan of the series.
I prefer series like The Expanse.
Glad you and your loved ones are doing well. Hoping for a full recovery.

Glad to see that even though you are ill, you’ve still got an eye on the news.
ReplyDeleteGlad you and the family are recovering. Crazy times we are living in.
