The peak for Omicron cases in the US will peak at up to five million cases per week by the beginning of January after a busy festive period.

When you read the article, you read that the father had diabetes and other underlying conditions. He should have got the vaccine although the vaccines are pretty shitty. The risk-benefit analysis would have come out most likely positive for him.
