Video Emerges Of The F 35 Approaching The USS Carl Vinson Before Crashing

Update: A picture of the F-35 in the sea is also circulating on social media (see below). The image and video is from Northern Provisions (link here).

Both video and picture have not been verified or authenticated. But if this video and image are accurate, there has been a serious breach of security aboard the USS Carl Vinson.

  1. If that video is authentic, the F-35C that crashed found itself too low at the fantail and tried a last second power-up to meet the deck arresting cables. Hit low and too hard.

    1. Interesting take Russ. I kinda thought the same thing. Hopefully some more video and information is released.

  2. Fascinating stuff to me. I seriously hope they find it. Might as well divert those two carriers and accompanying strike groups currently on maneuvers in the Pacific to ensure security, with more assets as well. I don't believe there are any SSN's with that group... Might be overkill but oh well.

  3. Paper going through a printer/copier gets tagged. Phones are tagged. You might go through 5,000 smart phones or other devices., but they will be able to match the video with a person's device. JAG aided by master at arms will start with the deck department. Right there cuts the job down from 5,000. You do not know where everyone is all the time, but from workstation and duties , you know generally, where people are or should be. People from maintenance work center at the fantail would be interviewed.

Back in the day electrical devices such as tape players had to be checked by maintenance. The purpose was to prevent fires. They checked for frayed cords and other items. Maybe there were ulterior motives, but there also was a straight forward motive. Again, that was fire safety. Do they allow iPhones on carriers and are they inventoried?

If or when they check the smartphones, will they find porn videos of Asian hookers and married people or underaged?

Asking to review people's phones to see if the tags match up with those of the released video is warranted. For the longest time manufacturers in the US did not allow phones with cameras on them on premises. So what the DoD wants in this regard is not draconian.

"EXIF data is a form of metadata that can be found in some JPEG and TIFF images. If the camera which took the picture has a GPS unit, then it will tag the image with the GPS coordinates of where the image was taken as part of that EXIF data."

So the Chinese had an idea where the battle group was within a few miles from their own surveillance. Now, they know for sure. The JAG officer on the carrier will be busy. We will have a name.

Question: Will the sailor, who took the video, be prosecuted more than the contractor, who took the video of the illegals planed into Westchester Country in the middle of the night after the airport was closed by the OBAMA III administration?
