Widespread Anti-War Protests Erupt Across Russia

Daily Mail: Putin cracks down on Russians who call for PEACE in Ukraine: Demonstrators in Moscow are dragged away by police after showing solidarity with protests across the world 

* Pictures showed Russian police clamping down on anti war protesters in the capital and Saint Petersburg 

* Some of the protesters were shown being carried away by multiple police officers. Some were armoured 

 * Russian officers detained over 700 people during anti war protests in 40 cities across the country 

* Elsewhere, protests have taken place on streets across Europe and further afield against the invasion 

* People gathered outside embassies in London, Berlin, Paris, Stockholm, Oslo and Riga - to name a few 

* It came after Russian troops moved into Ukraine on Thursday after Vladimir Putin declared war 

* Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday called on Ukrainians and Russians alike to protest 

Putin cracked down on Russians calling for peace tonight, with police and national guard seen dragging protesters away for showing solidarity with Ukraine and other similar demonstrations across the world. 

Rarely seen protests against Russian president Vladimir Putin broke out in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, as the global outcry against the Russian strongman grew louder. 

Pictures showed officers physically picking up protesters and dragging them away from the demonstrations, which are rare in the authoritarian country which does not tolerate dissent against the Kremlin.

  1. Assuming the results of the invasion get rolled back sometime this year or next 20 years, I think Crimea should be Russian.

    There should be plebiscites. Plebiscites however seem to be held only when the victors think they can pick something off, which makes the victors fucking hypocrites.

  7. Biden is not staying up past 9 or 10 PM ET. He probably is going to be much earlier.

    Ron Klain, brown-noser Sullivan, Austin, Milley and some others are staying up late and deciding what Biden will sign or say when he gets up for his bankers hours.
