RT: Russia's Putin and Germany's Scholz talk gas for rubles

Vladimir Putin assured his German counterpart that gas contracts wouldn’t be affected by the switch to Russian currency Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz spoke by phone on Wednesday to discuss Moscow's demand that Berlin pay for Russian gas with rubles, rather than in euros or dollars.

  1. If this goes through then it's basically a greenlight for Russia to use Gazprom bank for a whole lot more than just natural gas. Apparently it's too big to fail, so to say.

  2. Scholtz is not a serious person. Look at his antics, when he was a young politician.

At least as far as we know he is not corrupt like Mr. 10% (aka Joe Biden).

  4. The sanctions are just down. So, is it bad? Not really because sanctions never work. They was supposed to be a "deterrent" for Putin, well we see that since more than one month. Words against action is always a loosing bet.
