DW: Taiwan: China announces fresh military drills as tensions simmer
China said there would be more military drills on Tuesday as the US kept up support for Taiwan, an important US ally in the region.
A five-member US delegation met with Taiwan's president on Monday.
China announced more military drills Tuesday to protest against US support for Taiwan.
But Beijing revealed little about new military exercises and it was not clear where and when drills would be conducted as it typically does.
