More than 1,000 people have died and millions displaced as massive flooding engulfs Pakistan. 

Officials say this year's monsoon flooding has affected more than 33 million people — one in seven Pakistanis — destroying or badly damaging nearly a million homes. 

The country's climate minister called the deadly monsoon season a 'serious climate catastrophe' while army chiefs called the disaster 'unprecedented'.
