The Twitter thread below gives an analysis (from a Russian perspective) of the recent missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian electrical facilities. It looks like the Russian military is probing Ukraine's electrical vulnerabilities. A lot of strikes on a day or two, followed by a lull for a day or two, followed by another round of strikes. Russian military bloggers believe that this is being done on purpose. That when Russia begins their major counter-offensive in the future, they will know where to strike and cripple/knock-out Ukraine's grid. Since half of Ukraine's train network runs on electricity, and this is how the Ukraine military transports its heavy weapons, these strikes make sense from a military point of view.
