Saudi Arabia bought from the Chinese once to obtain the missiles. The US did not like it. so what did President Demento do? He shoved Saudi Arabia into the Chinese camp.
Iranian muckery. Rattle the sword while internal protests are ongoing and try to distract. They're pretty confident that there's nothing Biden won't overlook to unlock more $billions for them.

DeleteThat’s exactly what I’m thinking. Iranian drones did some serious damage. They will be much more prepared as anti- drone systems have vastly improved since then. But so have Iranian munitions and drones.. could be interesting
DeleteTo date Iran is very keen on drone attacks being seen coming form the south (Yemen) and actually launching form the south.
ReplyDeleteIt might be a shorter flight time from the coast of Iran to the refineries on Arabia's east coast, but Iran does not want to go there. Not yet anyway.
Unlike the pampered children of the Ayatollahs, some Saudi Princes actually have combat experience. It may not be much experience and the risk may not have been great, but the risk was there and very real. It is not a great amount of combat experience, but it is more than what the religious leaders have.
