CNN: Exclusive: Iran is seeking Russia’s help to bolster its nuclear program, US intel officials believe

Iran is seeking Russia’s help to bolster its nuclear program, US intelligence officials believe, as Tehran looks for a backup plan should a lasting nuclear deal with world powers fail to materialize.

The intelligence suggests that Iran has been asking Russia for help acquiring additional nuclear materials and with nuclear fuel fabrication, sources briefed on the matter said. The fuel could help Iran power its nuclear reactors and could potentially further shorten Iran’s so-called “breakout time” to create a nuclear weapon.

Experts emphasized to CNN, however, that the nuclear proliferation risk varies depending on which reactor the fuel is used for. And it is also not clear whether Russia has agreed to help – the Kremlin has long been outwardly opposed to Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon.

  1. "US worried Russia may try to buy more advanced weapons from Iran"

Only a few months have passed. Before that Obama, President Cray Cray, Blinken, Kerry and the other tards subjected us to a decade of Iran talks.

The Iranian leadership never changed their minds and never were going to change their minds. Yet the mavens of smart subjected us to horror.

Having Cray Cray and his people in charge is like being on the crazy train and watching another train coming head on and President Cray Cray pours on the steam.

  2. bit of a conundrum for US propaganda. Russia needs to be shown as weak and needing advanced weapons from Iran, but at the same time you don't want to admit Iran has advanced weapons

  3. I do not see Russia as needing advanced anything from Iran. If Russia needs something is is due to production capacity issues not lack of knowledge.

U.S. Navy Admiral Admits That The Cost Of Developing Hypersonic Weapons Combined Wth America's Small Industrial Base Means The US Navy Cannot Do It Alone

Russia has an Italian sized industrial base and America is trying to catch up. Elites in America like Feinstein and Pelosi are hard at work offshoring industry.

Production lines are battle Lines, but the pocketbooks of DC elites come 1st, God Dammit! The way it should be!

There is no problem with admitting Iran has some good weapons except for the RC, Kerry's, Bidens and Obamas of the world.
