Ukrainian Officials Admit That They May Be Forced To Pull Out Their Forces From The City Of Bakhmut

The Guardian: Bakhmut burning: fires everywhere as Russians close in on city’s capture

Situation for Bakhmut’s defenders now almost untenable as seven-month assault may be nearing end

In the besieged city of Bakhmut in eastern Ukraine, the volunteers collecting the civilian dead risk becoming casualties themselves.

“Where? Where?” demands Daniel Wilk, a Canadian driver, in shaky video footage shot recently inside the city and seen by the Guardian.

Wilk proceeds quickly, the anxiety of the situation visible in his movements as he is directed to a fence, cutting an uncertain path across the snow as another voice cries “no, no” repeatedly.

  1. And yet, more criticism for Ukraine trying to defend its land, but none for the shit country invading it.

Funny how you, WNU, enjoy Western life in Canada, but support Russia.

  2. They've lost alot of lives trying to hold this city. The writing was on the wall a long time ago but they decided to keep getting their men killed. They should be negotiating to preserve what's left of their country.

  3. Russia should negotiate to keep from getting dismembered. In no period of time since the founding of Moscow has Russia not waged war. It needs to go.

  4. Not worth the lives of the Russians attacking. A small city with not a lot of logistical importance. Such a waste of waste of lives for all those young Russian soldiers following crazy man Putins orders… even if they take bakumut they have already lost to much.

  5. From the Russian perspective it's well worth it to lose a few thousand convicts in return for destroying nearly a hundred thousand Ukrainian troops. If the shoe were on the other foot I imagine you'd say the same thing.

  6. If it was not important they wouldn't have been trying to hold it all this time.

Russia lost more than a few thousand convicts. Russia also has a declining population. When it comes to convicts you should forever separate from them or if there is an end to their term, you had better welcome them back into society. If you were a Christian, you would understand these things. Having a bunch of abused convicts who have served their term and who are still being abused is an invitation to creating and maintaining a dangerous subculture.

It is amazing that the Russian Mafia existed during soviet times. How is that possible? Those in power used their services. You might want to reconsider law and punishment.

With a declining populations there is bound to be openings for former convicts. Or you can keep the status quo.

The Ukrainains have not lost a few hundred thousand in Bakhmut. Nor have the Russians lost only a few thousand.

  8. The city, it is not important, at least for the Russians.

What is important for the russians is that the ukies have/had 20 combat brigades in that area.

You all commenting and trying to shape the narrative by saying

"Oh look, Russia is so weak that cannot take a small city."

you are either stupid and insist on parroting a MSM bullshit screed

    or

    Your logic is just pathetic.

This is not about a small city . It is about available combat power in a designated area.

the ukies chose to defend this area, so here they fight.

  10. @9:00 I didn't write a few hundred thousand, I wrote nearly a hundred thousand. According to the Ukrainian men in the city they're losing a brigade a week. You do the math.

    ReplyDelete
  11. No, you meant a few hundred thousand. Learn the English language Russki, if you are going to professionally troll. So a large group if Russians fight one Ukrainian using men an APC and artillery. Not one Russian of dturmtruppen material. Must be that mongrel blood of yours.

  12. Play to your strengths. Ukraine is more nimble than the bear as has been demonstrated this entire conflict. This city shouldn't have been defended for so long. The bear has too many troops for Ukraine to sit and be pounded by them.

  13. LOL you're doomed to fight the russians hiding in your schizo brain until the end of time.

I meant what I wrote. Exactly that. You have no reading comprehension and don't know how to deal with the 'embarrassment' of being corrected. The perfect type of retard for the media to manipulate into flag-waving for each new current thing.
