RT: Russia outlines conditions for Ukraine peace deal

Kiev should rule out joining NATO and the EU and respect the rights of minorities, Moscow’s deputy foreign minister says

The Ukraine conflict could be settled if Kiev were to re-commit to its neutral status, recognize “new territorial realities,” and declare Russian as a state language, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said in an interview released on Saturday.

Speaking to TASS news agency, the diplomat said Moscow “is convinced that a peace settlement will be possible only if the Ukrainian armed forces cease hostilities, and Western weapons shipments are stopped.”

  3. Russians should just march into Kiev, change the regime and absorb Ukraine. Nato won't be able to do anything about it.

Here's a plan, retreat to 2014 borders pay trillion compensation.

    SO THERE WILL BE.

No trillion dollar compensation and no retreat to the 2014 borders.

    FAZMAN HAS SPOKEN.

AS IT IS WRITTEN, SO SHALL IT BE DONE

  10. you mock Fazman and we all mock you. Fazman has a position, like it or not. You have venom and that is all.

  11. No you dork. Fazman has an ideological bent that he follows with rigor.
I, on the other hand, merely point this behavior trait out and make fun of it.

We do hope that one day he will leave his ideology behind and develop some sort of critical thinking skills. But we are not holding our breath.

  12. If nothing amazing happens for the Ukies, they have already lost. Next to Nato stepping in and start the WW3, i can't see how they can survive. But I'm glad so many here thinks so positive 😊 if Russia goes from the north, that I thought they would do already but whatever, it's going to be so quick. But i think we're missing something and i don't know what. It's like Russia is holding back and i don't really know why..

  13. But if they are not holding back, then it's just incompetence and that I'm willing to accept. It's Russia after all.

  14. They say the Russians are holding back because if they push too hard , Nato will intervene. I do not know. It is one of the mysteries of this war.

The other angle is that maybe the russians do not care how long this war lasts. Some say the Russians think the longer the better. Because no matter how hard the Ukrainians fight against the CURRENT Russian defenses , they will lose and die. The Russians strategy is to bleed them to death.

    And maybe it is incompetence.

All the above being said. I would wait until the Ukrainians have thier counter offensive. Bleed that offensive out, then counter attack and take Odessa and create a land bridge to the Transniester. Then stop. Pull back and create a DMZ.

Your one risk is NATO. will they intervene? That is the question.

But who knows how this whole mess is h=going to end up.

I do know this , if the Ukrainians only attack with nine combat brigades (as some say). They are not going to get very far.
