Two US Air Force B-1B Lancer Bombers Conduct Low Flyover Over Bosnia And Herzegovina

Zero Hedge: US Flexes With Low B-1 Bomber Flyover As Balkan Tensions Boil

At a moment tensions are on edge in the Balkans over a fresh crisis between the Serbian minority of northern Kosovo and ethnic Albanians, which over the weekend saw dozens of NATO peacekeeping forces injured while trying to quell fierce protests, the United States decided it was time for some muscle-flexing.

Two US Air Force B-1B Lancer bomber aircraft conducted a low flyover of Sarajevo and other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on Tuesday. It had been pre-announced at the start of this week and described as "a sign of the strong partnership between the United States and the Armed Forces of BiH, according to a statement in the English language news portal Sarajevo Times.

Update: US bombers fly over Bosnia in sign of support (AP) WNU Editor: All that I can say is better a low flyover of Sarajevo and other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and not conducting a high 'flyover' over Sarajevo and other cities in Serbia.

  2. So we're looking at a Bosnia redux? Great timing with the Russia/Ukraine war.

  3. It is not a violation of airspace when one country is asked by a breakaway republic to assist them in mutual defense, and UN charter declares that this process is completely legal and justified.

Can we think of any other similar situations?

Stoking tensions and desperate? Not in their minds. This current US regime is actually no different from the rest since 1992, up until 2016. When we had a respite of perpetual war for four short years. No it's back on as usual. Led by a corrupt establishment scumbag surrounded by incompetents.

  7. I don't think we will be sending any ground forces to bosnia. The country is a plurality Muslim. They will be scratching their heads dealing with male soldiers wearing lipstick or dresses. LGBTQXYZ and islam cannot occupy the same space.
