The Guardian: Large-scale drone attack hits Moscow for first time in Ukraine war
Rare strike on Russian capital unnerves Muscovites who had been told conflict would not threaten them
Moscow has been targeted with a large-scale drone attack for the first time in its 15-month-old war in Ukraine, marking a new inflection point in a conflict that the Kremlin said would never threaten the lives of ordinary Russians.
Russia continues to pummel Ukraine with deadly missile and drone strikes on a near-daily basis. Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, faced its third air raid in 24 hours on Tuesday morning.

WNU Editor: Russian President Putin says today's attack on Moscow was a 'response' to a strike on Ukrainian army intelligence HQ. More here .... Kremlin explains why Ukraine launched attack on Moscow (RT).
The last time Moscow Was attacked like this was during the Second World War. And here is an easy prediction. Expect more drone and probable missile attacks in the future.
One more note. It looks like these drones were targeting a specific residential district, a district where Putin's official residence is located, as well as other top Russian leaders.

ReplyDeleteTime for Russia to be incinerated.
WNU can brag week after week about drones swarms hitting Kyiv or the electrical system( although we have not heard that one lately).
Ukraine is to sit there and take it ... but don't touch mother Russia!
There is no respect for people you can hit others but cannot take a hit.
"You can dish it out, but you can't take it" is a well known American aphorism.
You want to scream about a peer on peer war up to and including nuclear war? Bring it!
It is well past time for world wide denouement.
psycho
DeleteThe British bombed Berlin on August 25, 1940. they bombed it because the Germans bombed London. The Germans bombed London because a German bomber got lost. It happens in war.
ReplyDeleteYou start bombing an enemy capital and you can bet that the enemy is going to bomb you back. It is a truism of war.
So the Russians bomb Kyiv and they do not expect to get bombed back?
because of
- The law of gross tonnage?
- Russia is a cry-bully?
We got bombed on 9/11 2001and we destroyed two countries that had Nothing to do with it. Update: Saudi Arabia is doing just fine.
DeleteNo, only a matter of time.
ReplyDeleteand 1:05 is a true nut case. Yea the editor is saying how great it is to see bombings...What did I miss that?
In reality
All he does is throw up an article . I have never seen him go into a joyous kiniptchin like 1:05 over who or what got hit.
Yes we an be sure he absolutely hates Ukies, and , well, just because he helps them very Tuesday , that is all a lie? Right?
Bud you need professional help.
The editor lies by omission just like all the big publishers.
ReplyDeleteThe Germans conducted mass air attacks against industrial targets, towns, and cities, beginning with raids on London towards the end of the Battle of Britain in 1940 (a battle for daylight air superiority between the Luftwaffe and the Royal Air Force over the United Kingdom). By September 1940, the Luftwaffe had lost the Battle of Britain and the German air fleets (Luftflotten) were ordered to attack London, to draw RAF Fighter Command into a battle of annihilation.[5][6] Adolf Hitler and Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring, commander-in-chief of the Luftwaffe, ordered the new policy on 6 September 1940. From 7 September 1940, London was systematically bombed by the Luftwaffe for 56 of the following 57 days and nights.[7][8] Notable attacks included a large daylight attack against London on 15 September, a large raid on 29 December 1940 against London resulting in a firestorm known as the Second Great Fire of London.[9] and a large raid on the night of 10–11 May 1941.
