WNU Editor: My father was in Kyiv studying at the university when the war broke out. He was 19 yars old. He always took this day off to remember this day and how it completely changed his life.On this day in 1941, Germany invades the Soviet Union with nearly four million troops. It's a decision that will ultimately cost Hitler the war. pic.twitter.com/bx9MXOEq8Z

Missed opportunities by world leaders at that time. Similar to what we see today. Hitler could have been stopped had Chamberline, France and Stalin negotiated a "go to war" pact over Poland. Then once Hitler invaded, France and Britain invaded Germany while Russia attacked thru Poland. WWII never happens. Now we have Biden and the West fighting without conviction over Ukraine while antagonizing China and Russia over their vital interests.
ReplyDeleteThe German invasion of Russia was made possible by the Russian & German invasion of Poland.
ReplyDeleteBefore that Germany had a small border with Russia, which was where East Prussia met the former Baltic nations that the evil Russians had swallowed up.
So WNU had a father, who fought against the NAZIs in WW2. did WNU's father have any comment on Russia attacking or seizing territory form Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Poland and Romania?
At least WNU does not claim that his father died in Iraq. Joe always does that to garner sympathy. Joe blurts out his son died in Iraq when he did in the Us of brain cancer. So there is that for WNU. He does the sympathy thing without lying. Just no comment the 6 territorial aggression by Russia form 1939 to 1941.
The blogger should write a book about his dad, or at least jot all that history down for his relatives. So much history is being lost as that generation passes.
ReplyDelete"Scientist, 92, who created Russia's thermonuclear bombs is found hanged in his Moscow apartment
ReplyDeleteGrigory Klinishov was found dead at his central Moscow home, as Russian investigators said they were probing the death of the nonagenarian atomic expert."
Unlike someone Grigory Klinishov had morals.
Why write anything down? Some communist/fascist group get sin charge, they will literally send the Red Guards to burn it.
ReplyDeleteIt is what communists do. It happened to my spouse's family.
Hard to burn a text document on the internet.
ReplyDeleteFiles on the internet can be purged. Wayback machine has been purged for some items for political reasons. Some liberal had her uncle, who is the founder and current operator of the Wayback machine.
ReplyDeleteI believe it was a documentary on people, who regret sex change operations. Those voices cannot be heard.
Fahrenheit 451 can happen on the internet. You can always upload it again and then ...
