* Before invading Ukraine, Russia set up blood drives and field hospitals, The Economist reported.
* Surgeons in the field were even practicing on large animals that were under anesthetics.
* Ukraine's medical treatment has given them an advantage over Russia, The Wall Street Journal reported.
An estimated 50,000 Russians have died fighting the war in Ukraine, according to a July Associated Press report, and for 17 months Russia averaged about 400 casualties per day — a bloody toll for which the Kremlin apparently tried to prepare.
In the months before Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, there were several indications that Russia was preparing for mass casualties, and thus for war, Major-General Tim Hodgetts, the surgeon general of the British armed forces, told The Economist.

WNU Editor: I am always asking my relatives and friends in both Russia and Ukraine if they are getting he health care that they need. No problems in Russia. In Ukraine, I am told the hospitals are full with wounded soldiers and the health care system is being rationed to favor the military.
According to AP/BBC/Mediazona and Meduza an estimated 50,000 Russians have died fighting the war in Ukraine .... How many Russians have died in Ukraine? Data shows what Moscow hides (AP).
Stalin had friends too.
ReplyDeleteThis type of projection always preempts bad news from Kiev.
ReplyDeleteWe heard stories about Russia press-ganging men because nobody wanted to fight, then a couple weeks later we find out their mobilization got more volunteers than asked for and Kiev is the one sending out roaming gangs of "recruiters".
We heard that Russia was running out of ammo and that they were secretly smuggling millions of tons of North Korean shells via a literal camel train. Then a few weeks later the western press admits that it's us with the shell shortage and we're actually the ones buying (South) Korean shells.
Now we hear that Russian hospitals are supposedly on the razor's edge, which, if we're following the pattern of media projection, forecasts some horrifying news to come out of Kiev in the next week or two regarding the state of hospitals in the country. By then, of course, the media will have moved on to a new angle and the lemmings will have forgotten all about hospitals in favor of jerking off to pictures of a half-assed bridge attack or a grenade drop video.
Russian doctors may not have had the experience for violent trauma injuries because they do not have cities like Chicago or Detroit where our doctors gain experience. It may have been true in the beginning of the war, but they now have plenty of experienced doctors and Journeymen doctors to train new doctors. Our blob's war has a lot of unintended consequences for the US military. Many of the Russian war potential deficiencies have now been fixed. And while we are good at fighting non peer peasants, they have been taking on a modern peer military.
ReplyDeleteGood comments. It's always good when we remember the lies of the past against the truth of today.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes after 18 months of fighting and the Ukrainians saying the Russians have 500000 casualties. Russian doctors should now be some of the best trauma surgeons in the world , right?
Yes, what a joke. More lies from the ukies and the jackass Western msm just pass it along with no thought involved.
