BBC Admits That Ukraine Constantly Needs “Tens Of Thousands” Of New Recruits To Replace Casualties

BBC: Ukraine war: The men who don't want to fight

Ukraine is struggling to meet its demand for soldiers.

Volunteers aren't enough. The country constantly needs to replace the tens of thousands who've been killed or injured. Many more are just exhausted, after 18 months fighting off Russia's full-scale invasion.

Some men though don't want to fight. Thousands have left the country, sometimes after bribing officials, and others are finding ways of dodging recruitment officers, who in turn have been accused of increasingly heavy-handed tactics.

"The system is very outdated," says Yehor. He watched his father suffer from mental health issues after fighting with the Soviet Army in Afghanistan.

Update: Ukrainian draft dodgers aggravating troop shortages – BBC (RT)

WNU Editor: The mood in Ukraine has completely changed from the start of the war to today. Everyone sees this war as a meat-grinder, and serving on the front lines for any extended period of time will mean either being severely wounded or killed.

Here is an easy prediction. Ukraine's problem with draft dodging is going to get worse.

    1. True prediction was right, now let's see the people of Ukraine are merely a bunch of deluded people because the president is a theater actor his ethnicity is not even Ukrainian because the appearance is similar to a Greek, there we have language similar to Russian, customs, buildings and many other things, just out of nowhere Nazi flags and racial groups, losing the war the clown zelenko embraces the nazi flag of his army and asks for help from billions in europe and usa..., Maybe Putin is one of the best war strategists that even NATO must be jealous, because so much nonsense is being exposed that it's embarrassing to support Ukraine that's a fact, like the country but disappeared children and child trafficking groups abuses of the largest on the continent, US bio labs and other absurdities...

  3. Ukraine claimed an attack Monday on a base housing Russian supersonic bombers, the second apparent aerial attack on such a base in recent days. Wait until the F-16’s come in. WNU mood will change too!

    Hope you are right..

That's the same thing you said when the ukies were going to get the
    Himars
    Then

    Patriots
    Then
    Leopards
    Then storm shadows
    Us training and equipment.

It is only slowing down the inevitable.

Prediction. Many of these planes will be shot down due to inefficient pilot training.
many will also become hanger queens due to maintenance

Not my doing, I merely fortell

    1. Yep. This all was fairly easy to foretell from as far back is 2014. While a Ukrainian victory is not entirely impossible, it seems to me to be about as likeky as winning the lottery. One doesn't bet their or their family's future on winning the lottery.

  5. The new jets will use glide bombs or shoot at Russian helos and ground attack planes from behind Ukrainian lines.

Both the Russians and the Ukrainians are using glide bombs so they can stay behind their won lines. It is how the Ukrainians are operating now and it is how the Ukrainians will operate the new airplanes. That is not safe, but it is much safer than the alternative. Operating that way does not result in planes falling form the skies like Mr. I foretell.

The storm shadows took out the Chonhar bridge in Crimea and WNU cried real tears and blustered terribly. very sad to see an old, fat man bluster.

The bridges and rail lines will all be cut. I hope to God that the Russians can supply their illegal occupying forces in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Oblasts the M14.

I have been told that Putin could lose his forces on those oblasts and he will not give up. He would rather continue to imitate Hitler and launch a nuclear war instead.

The air defense bubble of the Russians? It is getting smaller.

  6. With war production in high gear, how is. It possible that the Russian air defence bubble is getting smaller.
There is no evidence of that.

Based on past experience of the last 6 months, new weapons for the Ukraine did not equal victory.
Those planes when they take off will be targeted. They need clean run ways to take off and land.
The Ukrainias have been wiseley shifting thier air field to field expediant runways on roads. This will pose a problem for the uaf.

Bluf.. the paltry amount of f16s combined with inexperienced pilots will not change the outcome of this war.

The Russians will not give up the territories they have claimed. One reason is the Ukrainians do not have the power to take them back.

  7. The more the Ukrainians push back the Russians the less distance between the front lines and the coast. the air defense bubble has to get smaller.

Dead Russians cannot man guns, trenches or pillboxes. The trenches make good mass graves.

  8. If I was Ukrainian I would not fight either. The older I get the more I realize that the civilian leaders who create the wars where men go to die in battle could absolutely care nothing about the men who do the dying. Why fight and die for morally bankrupt leaders who likely despise you?

Never served have you? I say this because your comment on ada is nonsense. Military schooling would have taught you otherwise.

More men are dying trying to break those defensive lines than those defending them. Have you ever thought about that?

    ReplyDelete
  10. No, Never , ever, ever occurred to me that more Ukrainians than Russians would be dying in this phase. Never ever ever. there is a reason why they have the 3 to 1 rule of thumb.

I do know that once a break through happens the results are pretty one side the other way. That is about the time you are figuring out the safe way to surrender.

Some of the ADA assets are beyond artillery range That helps preserve it. Once more of it or all of it is in artillery range it will fall apart. It is all a stupid game of stone paper scissors.

Russians are pretty desperate when they are putting their specialized trenching vehicles on the front line.

People have tried to sound informed and serious by intoning that the Ukrainians will not get to the coast. Serious people like that fuck Blinken. I could give a flying fuck about reaching the coast or the M14. What matters is the rail lines. It is why the battle of Urrozhaine is a big deal. It is why the Russians are fighting tooth and nail for Robotyne and Novoprokopivka.

18 miles from Robotyne to Tokmak. there is a rail line there. hit that line and hit eh rail bridge over the straits (or Chonhar bridge), will the Russians be getting enough food and ammo?

As the Russians switches people from Kherson to Robotyne to cover losses, Kherson becomes wide open. I have no doubt that some or many UA troops in Kherson are happy to maintain contact but not push too hard, but specs ops will be probing.

The Russians excel are fixing rail lines. They are damn good at it. How good will they be at it while under fire?

Seen to many reports of artillery hitting ADA in and around Bakhmut.

I do not expect Tokmok to be taken soon. I do not have expectations that it will be taken. But if it is the M14 will be very hard on Russian truckers.

  15. The Russians are fortunate. They take no casualties and thus do not need more and more replacements.

  16. Vladimir Putin has addressed the Brics summit in South Africa via video-link - he didn't travel due to risk of arrest
He again blamed the West for Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, saying they stoked a "coup d'etat" in Ukraine in 2014
His address came hours after three people were killed by drone strikes in Belgorod near the Ukrainian border
Moscow was also attacked by drones overnight, with one skyscraper damaged
Meanwhile Gen Sergei Surovikin - previously in charge of Moscow's forces in Ukraine - has been sacked from his latest role, Russian state media reports
Surovikin - nicknamed "General Armageddon" - hasn't been seen in public since the Wagner rebellion in June
