Putin commits to China visit in first major trip since arrest warrant

FOX News: Putin commits to China visit in first major trip since arrest warrant

Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to make a trip to China this fall in what will be his first trip outside of Russian or allied territory since the International Criminal Court issued a warrant for his arrest.

Putin's regime is preparing for him to appear at China's Belt and Road Forum in October, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.

He has remained primarily within Russia or countries formerly held by the Soviet Union since the court issued its warrant in March, though he has also visited Iran.

  1. THE BEACH PARTY IS OVER: @Gerashchenko_en reports that Russian authorities plan the mobilization of 30,000 Crimean residents. An additional 10,000 locals will be drafted into the Russian military. Expect traffic delays on the outbound lanes of the Kerch Bridge.

In other news Russia is drafting Russian expats.

  2. "The 108th Airborne Regiment of the RF Armed Forces lost from a third to a half of its personnel in two weeks of fighting in the Rabotino area."

    Waste of good Russians.

It is shame that Putin and someone we know insist upon it.

The 108th is so shattered that so few will be rotated out of line that the survivors as a training cadre will not be able to impart anything of value to replacements. The 108th will not be any more elite than any other unit.

Sad, but it had to be done.

    1. Would that be CIA propaganda? Where are you getting this info? We’ve been spoon fed a lot of BS in terms of numbers from most western sources over the period of this conflict.

  4. Russia moving VDV units from their Svatove-Kreminna offensive south to plug gaps there, means that the main purpose of that offensive (discounting the possibility that the Russian's believed in a breakthrough), to draw Ukranian attention away from their offensive in the south, failed

I'm sure they meant to go on a bigger offensive towards Lyman, and i'm pretty sure they will still try. Being pushed back and not being on the offensive is not a good look for Putin domestically.. Even if he has to sacrifice thousands of troops, I see them going on the offensive..

They tried to push to Torsk and Lyman, and failed. They did push a salient West from Kreminna a few miles. That progress is now at risk of a Ukrainian counterattack, that may be able to take Kreminna, this time, severing the road link from Severodonetsk to Svatove.

In the process, those Russian reserves being shuttled around have lost some of their capability due to attrition on those Northern fronts.

  5. But if they get a breakthrough, Russia can say goodbye to Crim.

  6. And that's the goal for this counter offensive btw.

  7. The elite Russian units got a few miles toward Kupyansk. The was a big hullabayoo a month ago. Then nothing. So they are going to throw 100,000 mobiks in to replace the VDV and they expect better results?

They would have been better off with Wagner in the Kremnina area or would they?

In my opinion the concept of "Death Ground" in Sun Tzu has constraints or limitations. Of particular interest would be the study of the bitches, who went back to prison after WW2.

"#China's state-owned Standard Map Service has presented a set of geographic maps for 2023, on which for the first time part of #Russia's territory is indicated as part of China. It is about the Bolshoy Ussuriysky Island on the Amur River.

According to a 2008 treaty between Russia and China, the island was divided between the two countries. The new official map of China marks the whole island as the easternmost point of the Chinese territory. The explanatory note emphasizes that "the map is made in accordance with the national standards for drawing borders of China and other countries of the world."

Who is Russian most important friend?

  11. Peace proposal

    1) Putin to abdicate and go into exile to beach front mansion in Tahiti to write hi memoirs and lay on the beach

    2) Kremlin to hand over and publicize Biden files.

    3) 2014 borders

    4) Plebiscite in Crimea

    Offer valid for 90 days

Afterwards pre-2014 borders and no plebiscite

The plebiscite is risky politically, but I am going with the best of Woodrow Wilson. Hate the man. He was more bad than good, but he was not a total loser.

In the mean time there are two more strategic lift planes to bomb in Pskov.

  12. What does Malthusian mean?
: of or relating to Malthus or to his theory that population tends to increase at a faster rate than its means of subsistence and that unless it is checked by moral restraint or by disease, famine, war, or other disaster widespread poverty and degradation inevitably result. Malthusian noun.

      Delete
  15. No, What is happening is the russians are once again in a defence, and slowly giving ground and decimating the ukrianinas along the way. This is the same strategy they use over a bakhmut and are doing it again.

No the 82nd may not be spent, but it has been committed. If you had any military training you would understand, that when a division, Corps or other unit commits its reserve...it is the final roll of the dice.

So that means the other brigades have gotten mauled. 82nd now gets thier chance to do or die,

  18. Back ground:..... Months ago only the hand picked best went to Nato countries to train,

    Now look at it.....

    From an article.

But they also said that the age and ability of the soldiers they are sent varies wildly, as Ukrainian commanders on the front line are often unwilling to spare their best men. One volunteer who turned up in Germany was 71 years old.

...that's right: FT identified a 71-year-old Ukrainian in the ranks of the NATO-sponsored training program. While perhaps admirable in terms of the individual elderly man's courage and willingness to defend his country, the whole scenario underscores the sad state of affairs within Ukraine military ranks, given they are sending geriatrics.

    end article

    comment....

Yes keep on attacking and thinking you are making progress.

Yes you are making progress!!! You gain meters..... while you progress in filling up Ukraine's grave yards with dead ukrianinas.

Oh , I almost forgot, you also get the distinction of progressing by filling up the hospitals with amputees.

9 more months of this crap and zelinski will be sending in little kids with the old men.

Tell me again how the Ukies are winning??

  20. WNU is a liar.

TBH there is a lot of lying or obfuscation or incompetence.

WNU beat his readers over the head with "Ukraine" is corrupt or poor or ..."

Well Ukraine is less corrupt than Russia.

    https://tradingeconomics.com/country-list/corruption-index

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corruption_Perceptions_Index

If Russia was less corrupt than Ukraine, they would have won the war in 3 weeks.

Why look at corruption? Because there was a discussion on the lines or resistance. The comments were that the trenches and dragon teeth you can see. But where do you see the majority of fighting taking place?

Anyway after it soaked in over 8 to 12 hours, do you notice the maps. Farm field after farm field after farm field.

If Ukraine was so damn corrupt, it would not look like the opposite of Zimbabwe.

    WNU is a liar.

How many hostages does the Kremlin have of his extended family back in tender loving Russia?

Addendum: The corruption index is wrong on America. Public officials like Biden do not steal 50 million dollars or more without there being a s2tload of corruption.

    ReplyDelete
  21. ok. Biden did what? and so you have proof of this and that is....? you asserted he stole 50 million: I challenge you to prove that. Or you are full of crap. Proof? something that would stand up in court and not a ref to some tabloid nonsense or some idiot making baseless charges.

  22. @12:20

You're very much correct. He didn't steal any money (in the Burisma case). WE agree on that. It's bribes.
I think that is way worse when it comes to men in those positions and that's why we're still talking about it. Maybe not completely illegal in your world, but sure, keep straw manning and confucate things.

If you don't agree that Hunter got bribes, after all the FACTS that has been released, we have nothing more to talk about. Then you're a troll and/or just simply a brainwash victim.
