Jerusalem Post: Saudi Arabia suspends talks on peace deal with Israel, Arab report claims
Saudi Arabia informed the Biden administration of its decision to halt all talks of normalizing ties with Israel on Sunday, the Arab news outlet Elaph cited an Israeli official in the Prime Minister’s Office as saying.
According to the unconfirmed report, Riyadh issued a message through the US, explaining that the “extremist” nature of Israel’s right-wing government led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is “torpedoing any possibility of rapprochement with the Palestinians, and thus with the Saudis,” as per Elaph.

WNU Editor: Israel is denying these reports .... Israel rubbishes reports of Saudi suspending talks on peace deal (WION). The U.S. is still pushing for a deal .... US pushes for agreement between Israel and Saudi Arabia that would change diplomacy in the Middle East (El Pais).
Muslims gonna be Muslims. Israel hasn't changed that much, regardless of who's in charge. The Palis always have and always will want Israel gone, and either Israel keeps them in check or they're history. But the Saudis are now feeling the need to appease their future overlords, in Iran.
ReplyDeleteBiden government, Bidenomics is more important than Israel, of course Saudi Arabia is a bitch of a nation of the future, but the ties between Israel and SAUD are the fault of the US for its empty promises... unlike the China.
ReplyDeleteso far.
DeleteI tend to agree with 10:27, but ...
ReplyDeleteWe do not know what might have been. The Biden Oligarchy insisted that any deal between the Saudis and the Israelis include the Palestinians. That demand by Biden looks like intentional sabotage to many people.
Maybe a deal without including the Palestinians might not have happened anyway. But it sure and Hell slowed it down enough to bring it to a full stop and perhaps that was the goal.
The UAE got onboard. Maybe with a bigger, more important country like Saudi Arabia it might have changed the whole tenor of the Middle East. Now we will never know.
Just remember Blinkenshit is in charge of the State Department.
I am not Jewish BTW.
I a, not Jewish, but Biden is!

“on a call with rabbis before the Jewish High Holy Days,”
and told them weakly:
“I, uh, uh, you might say, raised in, uh, the, uh, synagogues of my state. You think I’m kidding — I’m not. But back in Wilmington, Delaware, Beth Shalom was the home of countless friends for me.”
Golly Gee Willikers, we all know what time it is. It is election season.
May the ethnic pandering begin! :)
This just after Biden fooked Israel up the azz.

Why do the Palestinians have to be included? To sink the deal or better yet sink Israel?
Perhaps Biden is not the only one who needs an IQ test.
