CBC News: Russia's violence 'must not go unpunished,' Zelenskyy tells Canadian parliamentarians
Liberals announce $650M more in military aid for Ukraine, spread over several years
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy delivered an impassioned speech to parliamentarians Friday calling on Canada and other western allies to stick by his country through the long, bloody road to victory.
He addressed a joint meeting of the Canadian Parliament Friday following meetings in the United States, where he appealed for more weapons and rebuked Russia before the United Nations General Assembly and Security Council.
"Life and justice must prevail," Zelenskyy told the House of Commons in a speech that received at least a dozen standing ovations.

WNU Editor: He got some military aid from Ottawa, but it is spread out over 3 years .... Canada pledges C$650 million in Ukraine aid during Zelensky visit (France24).
I was in Toronto yesterday to meet a member of his delegation. I am a part of group in Montreal that has been shipping (at no cost to Ukraine) vital pharmaceuticals that Ukraine needs. It is not much, but it is help that people need.
We have been doing this since the start of the war, but unfortunately our last 3 shipments have disappeared .... hence having the meeting yesterday (thanks to my cousin who still has some pull with the Zelensky government). The meeting was very short, but he promised to look into it, and to not give up.
I am skeptical. The Ukrainian official I met looked stress, tired, impatient, and dispirited. But the strangest part of our meeting was that we talked in Russian on his insistence. I guess he did not like how I was taking my time to make my points clear in the Ukrainian language (which I admit I am not very good at), and he needed to be somewhere else ASAP.
Sighhh .... this is not how you should treat people who are helping you. If this is how their foreign officials are behaving , I can now understand why some EU states are slowly walking away from the mess that is the Ukraine war.

Footage emerged of a missile strike reportedly using the Bayraktar TB2 by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on the location of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh. This happened on September 19.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone take the Russians seriously anymore?
The Russian base in Nagorno Karabakh was hit by forces of Azerbaijan. The Russian army is stationed there as “peacekeeping” force. It is the 2nd major incident of that kind. Few days ago a car carrying Russian soldiers was hit, killing several of them.
ReplyDeleteNowhere, is safe for Russians.
Wagner dying in Africa.
Russian peacekeepers dying in Armenia.
Russian soldiers dying in Ukraine.
Time to invite some Kazakhistani Muslims to Russian and make them citizens.
You can prosecute some and others you could John Clark.

ReplyDeleteMaybe he's read your blog WNU. I can't imagine he's a fan... No matter how much aid you may give, your opinion on Ukraine is well understood and this may be a reason as to how you are treated.
ReplyDeleteYour on Epstein’ client list, aren’t you?

ReplyDeleteGood point.
The corruption starts from the top its always an inside job the one you met most likely has his hand in the cookie jar and this is why he was in a hurry to be somewhere else
ReplyDeleteThe Ukrainians are ungrateful as well as corrupt. Not a very good combination when trying to influence people and making new friends😊.
ReplyDeleteThey will not look into anything. Medical supplies are one of the best black market commodities. Needed all over the world, easy to take a large shipment and break down into smaller ones. Mostly light in weight when compared to arms and ammunition. No, they will not stop stealing that stuff.
I would also be a little ungrateful when the powers that helped them get to power back in 2014 don't fulfill their promise.
ReplyDelete"Whatever happens with Russia, we got your back. The whole NATO's might. Just continue providing daycare positions in boards for our politicians kids. Trust us."
But as always, when the reality kicks in, its not just flowers and bees and we all know that the EU cant help them beyond sending them the leftovers from their army supplies.
So here we are, only thing is for EU to start mass-produce, but they cant afford that AND have a welfare state for the whole earth at the same time. Guess what they are going to prioritize? lol
We've already seen that in Sweden's budget that came out this week.
People are actually crying bloody murder over stupid shit like environmental cuts, like that's super important to focus over right now.

ReplyDeleteThank you for that insight.
It is hard to miss something like that but it happens when the world news. reporting is crap.
'Russia's violence 'must not go unpunished,' the Jew Zelenskyy tells Canadian parliamentarians", but Zelenskyy conveniently forgets to mention the horrific Ukrainian violence towards Russian-speaking Ukrainians that led to Russia's rescue mission.
ReplyDeleteBut the Russian Ukrainians have not forgotten Ukrainians killing them, nor have they forgotten Ukrainians banning the Russian language, trying to erase the conservative Russian culture. Ukrainian wants to replace the Christian Russian culture with the Godless, decadent culture of Western Europe and the USA/Canada, with queers and transvestites openly spreading their rot.
11:28 strikes me as very queer
ReplyDeleteNo he is spot on. And what is the use of the ukies taking back to Donbass any way?
ReplyDeleteAs one guy said, they would have a guerrilla war on their hands for decades. It would make Northern Ireland look like a cake walk.
The ukies could not control it.
3X larger with more oil and natural gas and Russia is losing. I would not assume that people would vote for Russia. The corruption in Russia has to be through the roof to be doing that poorly with that much.
ReplyDeleteZelenko hmm joke biden Island Epstein real
