The Hill: Johnson suggests Israel-only aid bill could come to House floor this week

Newly elected Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on Sunday said a standalone bill for Israel aid will come to the House floor this week, sending an indication that President Biden’s request for aid to Ukraine will be further delayed.

“We’re going to move a stand-alone Israel funding bill this week in the House. I know our colleagues, our Republican colleagues in the Senate, have a similar measure,” Johnson said in an interview on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”

  1. Because Israel's needs ARE more urgent. This is the cradle of OUR civilization. Israel is only true western ally, the only democracy, the only tolerant society in the mid-east. The US and Europe do not have hundreds of thousands of radicalized Russians filling the streets and universities and city squares calling for the genocide of Ukraine and the West. They do have hundreds of thousands of imported, Islamic, indoctrinated, mal-educated, berserkers shrieking things that would make Hitler smile. A case of unlearned and forgotten history, arrogance, entitlement and recreational rage.

The unfunny thing is that they have no idea that what they riot for has already been attempted. It ended badly for the fascists then and it will end badly for the fascists today.

Russ is not a crackpot you idiot. He and the majority of Americans have been programmed since 1948 that Israel is some kind of blessed freedom loving, American loving, "needed strategic allies" in the Middle East. It is none of those things. But try arguing with some of these nut cases and you get called a Putin stooge, an enemy of freedom, or a bat shit crazy anti semite racist.

This is what the power of propaganda can do for you.

By the way I am no friend of the Arabs. As far as I am concerned the Arabs and jews are all semite peoples , all of them, and they deserve each other.

  6. My first introduction to Palestinians were the suspicious package sign at bus stops and on busses in Jerusalem.

Greatest fear when flying is not DB Cooper. It is Palestinians hijacking planes.

Israel might not be the greatest thing since sliced bread, but Palestinians rank among the worst.

  7. "The Palestinian exodus from Kuwait took place during and after the Gulf War. There were 357,000 Palestinians living in Kuwait before the country was invaded by neighbouring Iraq in August 1990.[1] The policy which led to this exodus was a response to the alignment of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in favour of the Iraqi invasion as well as PLO leader Yasser Arafat's support for Iraqi President Saddam Hussein"

    No one wants Palestinians.

    Not Jordan
    Not Kuwait
    Not Lebanon
    Not Egypt

  8. Salman Pak facility Terrorist Plane hijacking training.

Iraq had no national airline so it was not to train how to overcome hijackers.

Two Palistinian factions were based in Iraq.

  9. >No one wants Palestinians.

Remind me again how many countries expelled all jews. Right, 109 times. I guess that justifies antisemitism according to your playground logic.

Why don't you play hard to get instead of a sleaze who bites the pillow at the drop of a hat?

    You actually used that argument?

Palestinians got kicked out of Jordan, because they tried to overthrow the governeent. Maybe you heard of black September?

Palestinians were persona non grata in Kuwait, because they welcomed Sadam's invasion of Kuwait.

    Compared that to the Jews.

Jews were kicked out of England, why?
