The Russian Defense Ministry reported 24 drones shot down overnight and early Sunday morning across at least four regions, including Moscow.

A source within Ukraine’s military intelligence who wasn’t identified told Ukrainska Pravda that a total of 35 drones were launched in a planned response to Moscow’s drone barrage against Kyiv on Saturday.

he actions were designed as a sign that Russia should consider the consequences of its actions, the newswire cited the intelligence source as saying.

  1. So what WNU. The cost benefit ratio is such the Ukrainians don't care if dozens of drones get shot down. They still hit a tractor factory that produces engines for tanks.

Those soldiers you left on the Kinburn Spit how well do you think they weathered the storm. they certainly did not get supplies during that time.

So the Ukrainians target a factory related to tank production and the Russians scored a big win with hitting a Kindergarten. Class was out of session but that is beside the point.

the only question are did EW knock the Russian ordinance of target, was ordinance substandard or did the Muscovites intend to hit the kindergarden?

  3. It is because he gets all his information from Ukrainian press and dutifully parrots it here.

He probably believes that the ghost of Kiev will re-appear and that the Ukrainians will take Tokmak any day now.

There is a picture of him in the dictionary next to the entry of:

    Magical Thinking.

  4. I had thought Russia was a superpower with a mighty military and that it would roll over Ukraine in two weeks' time. What happened?

    1. Same can be said about NATO in Afghanistan. Some 20 years later they left the Taliban one of the most equipped armies in Asia. You black and white brainers to find another hobby

  5. What if I told you Russia didn't start the war in 2014, wasn't prepared for the Ukrainian army massing it's troops in 2022, and thus could never be expected to live up to every CNN fantasy objective that Wolf Blitzer and yourself laid out for them.

  6. 647. what you think is nonsense. and considering the question of military might, you are being misleading or an ignoramus. If Russia was just fighting the Ukrainians, the war would have been over long ago.

    But it is not.

It is fighting the combined industrial and monetary strength of the USA and EU which is not only supplying the Ukraine with weapons but also propping up the UKie government by paying all government agencies and, salaries and pensions.

Therefore you arrogant, resentful, miscreant, lying, gaslighting jerk , Yes Mr fair and balanced, I mean you.

you need to do better with your snide remarks. So try to find some wit, when you are dumpster diving next week.

    1. It is not even close to fighting nato and the U.S industrial base . Show me nato navies in action, show me western airpower , show me 3000 Abram's, plus Nato armour..not even close

  7. You are intentionally being misleading.

The issue is the EU and USA support for the Ukies, That support is the only thing that is keeping the ukie war machine alive. Without that support, it is a known fact, that the Ukrainian Military and Government would collapse. This has been admitted by the Ukrainians themselves.

Your problem, and that of the Ukies is that the West has been stupid and parsimonious with the type and volume of supplies given to the ukies.

This has caused the Ukrainians to fail on the field of battle.

But to say that the russians are not fighting the West is a denial of the facts. Because , once again, the Ukies would die on the vine, if the West stopped supporting them.

Good try at trying to gaslight everyone. But once again, Your logic sucks.
