  1. I would wager the targets were power plants. Russia has been suffering a record setting fall for cold and snow. It looks like that extreme cold dips into Ukraine by the end of the week.

  2. Smart move doing it all at once. Like attacking an aircraft carrier and it's ADA bubble. Swarm and overwhelm. You make complete ADA coverage almost impossible that way.

Something will make it through using such a method.

  6. I can't help but think how this is rather pathetic considering what we did to Iraq during desert storm in the initial wave. We rocked their world. This pales in comparison.

  7. Said this last year.

It is puzzling that the Russians have not used the full force of their military in this war.

Where are the saturation bombings of major cities and field units?

Where 100 tube artillery barrages pummeling the enemy for minutes on end and then the tank forces attacking into the arty just as the firing stops. ( danger close attacks.).????? Thereby not letting the enemy even time to recover from blast waves and shell shock.

Where is the use of MOABS to completely decimate enemy unit defenses and allow for break throughs by opening axis of advances?

    (after the above)

Where is the attacks of 100s of tanks and vehicles across open spaces?

    Where are the airborne assaults?

Where are the SF raids deep into enemy territory?

Where is the overall supperession of electroninc and electrical capability? That is, Why is ukraine not totally blacked out and how is it they even still have radio or TV?

    That is the short list.

A lot of stuff in this war does not make sense.

You heard it on this blog first.

    2. The airborne assaults got hammered on day 1 at the airfield , and their paratroopers have been decimated.
Hundreds of tanks were destroyed on the way to Kiev. Special forces raids have been conducted by both sides .

  8. Ukraine has shown Ivan was a figment of reality based on WWII. This image was based on the loss of millions of Russians and others, and immeasurable amounts of war materials transported to Russia by the rest of the world.

  9. There are no dishwashers and washing machines left in Russia now.

Soon, Russia will run out of everything, like toilet paper and socks.

Then, it will be time for the Ukrainian counter-offensive to retake Moscow.
