RFE: Zelenskiy Discusses Need To Fortify Ukraine's Defenses Along Front

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy traveled to the southern region of Zaporizhzhya on November 30 for meetings with military leaders, saying afterward that the fortification of frontline areas should be accelerated.

Speaking in his evening address, Zelenskiy referred to areas of the Donetsk region, saying they will receive "maximum attention." He also noted the need to strengthen defensive lines at Lyman and Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region in eastern Ukraine, where he met earlier with Ukrainian troops and visited a school and an underground shelter.

  2. They really need to negotiate a ceasefire. If that is still a possibility. They risk losing even more land the longer they wait at this point. Their leverage slips away as Ukraine military weakens.

  3. Russia loses 1,000+ men a day. They are desperate and are recruiting ethnic Turks and Persians (Tajiks) from the Central Asian Republics.

"Recruiters on Russian city streets are handing out brochures to men claiming those who sign up for the military contract service will receive an initial one-time payment of $2,390, followed by salaries of up to $4,160 a month."

Moscow is promising men 50,000 a year salary, which in many cases they will renege on. How s this known? Because many wives are unable to collect. Their men are incommunicado, because they are dead. their bodies are not retrieved so there is no proof. If they will not pay many Russian war widows, what chance does a Uzbek, Kazakh, or Tajik war widow have?

    1. US recruitment does the same moron. That’s how recruitment works. No mention of Ukrainians being kidnapped off the streets though, how typical. What does the average Ukrainian war widow get these days? A one way ticket to the front to die in the same hole their loved ones are likely still rotting in, that’s what.

  4. And that is why the Ukraine cannot mount an offensive and must go into the Defence?

And good turn around on the dead being paid. The ukies are famous for that. But you all made fun of ukie ghost soldiers on the pay roll when it was reported here last week.

But when the Russians do it......it is ....oh! oh!!! looky looky,....and see what those horrible Russians are doing.

    You suck

  8. Thats because you have never been in nation that is in a desperate situation. In ww2 , churches openly supported the war and encouraged their men to join the army.
