Drone and missile attacks in Sistan and Balochistan province come after Iran struck sites inside Pakistan
Pakistan has launched retaliatory strikes against militants in Iran in response to attacks by Tehran that targeted sites within Pakistan’s borders, heightening fears of further instability across the Middle East and surrounding region.
A statement by Pakistan’s foreign office early on Thursday said it had undertaken “a series of highly coordinated and specifically targeted precision military strikes against terrorist hideouts” in the Sistan and Balochistan province of Iran, adding that “a number of terrorists were killed during the intelligence-based operation”.

No, I want more fighting between Pakistan and Iran.
ReplyDeleteThe leaders of Iran have to be a special kind of stupid to have the Baluchis hate them so.
Here here! 👍
DeleteThey attack both countries because they want an independent state and both Pakistan and Iran own parts of their ancestral land. Not only have both countries fought them; Pakistan is in a state of civil war with them. This is nothing new and both sides are attacking the same people.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, you're an expert on the mullahs of Iran, Mr. cheeto dust fingertips.
I believe certain regions , it might be best to be spun off. Baluchistan, which straddles Iran and Pakistan, is a candidate.
ReplyDeleteI do not see Baluchistan as being a going concern, but maybe it could.
The Iranians and Baluchis speak sister languages. Urdu is a Hindustani language with a lot of Persian influence.
Baluchistan was in many Persian empires. So between language and past political entities, the Balochis are closer to Iran than Urdu speakers or India.
But perhaps fragmenting before coalescing by mutual acquiescence is best.
The Iranian Mullahs are doing a worse job in Baluchistan than Putin is doing in Belarus.
Yes, I know about Baluchis being on both sides of the border. Want to criticize my lack of knowledge of different people. About the the only place would be South American tribes. So buzz off fuck head. Always nice for the FSB to check in.
