CNBC: Houthi militias launch biggest attack to date on merchant vessels in Red Sea
* U.S. Navy officials tell CNBC four warships from Operation Prosperity Guardian are engaged in the fighting * Approximately 50 merchant vessels are in the area of the attack
* This is the largest attack to date launched by Iranian-backed Houthi militants against commercial shipping vessels
U.S. and coalition forces under Operation Prosperity Guardian responded Tuesday in the Red Sea to what American officials said was the largest attack to date on merchant vessels by Iranian-backed Houthis.
“We are aware of the reports of the incident in the Red Sea,” said a senior Defense Department official, who was granted anonymity in order to discuss an ongoing operation.
Attacks have been reported in at least two locations: Southwest of Mokha, Yemen, and Hodeidah, Yemen.

WNU Editor: This attack comes after 14 countries, including the US, issued a joint statement warning the Houthis of 'consequences' should they continue these attacks.
The media narrative is that this attack was targeting commercial vessels in the region. A part of me wonders if this attack was actually targeting the US and coalition warships in the region.

ReplyDeleteAh, the sharply worded diplomatic protest. That is so cliché and useless and yet Blinken went there proving he is an idiot, shogun Biden is a meat puppet and shikken Obama is evil.
Blinken and his staff need to be sentenced to community service. They need to serve time on merchant ships plying these routes for 2 or 3 years. Do that enough times and the goons of foggy bottom will never neglect their duties again.
Predictions are that Biden will take part in a presidential debate with Trump. The farther along you are in a disease like Alzheimers, the less drugs work correctly. Also the body builds up a tolerance to the drug and you need more and more of it for the same effect. The White house Witch doctor could literally flatline puppet Joe Bribe'm by giving Bribe'm enough amphetamines to walk across the stage and open his ice cream hole at the cost of a heart attack.
Obama has less than 8 months (August 19–22 2024) to select another controllable puppet.
US elections 2024: a Biden vs Trump rematch is very likely, with Trump leading Biden
ReplyDeleteNikki Haley is a corporatist. She also fled from Loomer over Epstein questions. She is an aldulterer, but who cares. That is de rigueur for the rich and powerful. It certainly is a job risk as it is for thespians (which can be proven in the latter case).
Vivek Ramaswamy has ones Soros links, but he is a better bet than Haley.
Ron DeSantis does the right things and he also says the right things until campaign staff screws him up.
The Georgia case against Trump is blowing up or should blow, The dots have been connected between the DA, the prosecutor and the White house. Denouement might take a little while or perhaps it will not ever happen as the US is a banana republic.
Fanny Willis has been called in a divorce case. Big deal. She had relations with a married man. se had a choice. She could tie a T bone around her neck or shovel hundreds of thousands of dollars to a lawyer to get some afternoon delight. The divorce is a civil matter. The shoveling money to her "lover" is a public one of great importance.
Would Nathan Wade bang Fanny Willis without $654,000 dollars being involved? I think he would, but it would not be long term and could end at any minute if something better turned up. Willis has taken some good pictures but have you seen her lately? That boy is go9ng to need a barrel of flour.
Nathan Wade also visited the White House a few times.
So the dots are connected.
The White House is corrupt. It is staying in power by corruption. It is is so corrupt, that the adminsitration does not know how to run a country. They only know how to run the next election by hook or by crook.
So they profess to be concerned about global warming. Ships diverting form the Red Sea to the Cape of Good Hope route burn more fuel. That means more CO2 in the air. It needs to be explicitly stated because moron liberals have not figured it out. It means supply chains are messed up. it means t fix the supply chain stuff has to be expedited which means more money is spent, more fuel is burned and more CO@ goes into the atmosphere. It means that Egypt does not get their Suez Canal revenue. it means their current account is drained and the country faces bankruptcy again. It could cause a war or civil unrest there. Blinken flies around the world like a drunken butterfly spouting meaningless words, Joe calls a cap before noon virtually everyday die to the stims wearing off and the world burns.
I suppose we will soon see if Biden, Bliken & Company are all empty talk or will they back up their warnings to the Houthis with some action. My guess is they are all talk.

ReplyDeleteExcellent!
There is a betting pool about who blows the most hot air, Kerry or Blinken.
