Where many today portray “terror” as the method and not the enemy, Bobbitt says terror is, in fact, an enemy, and one that must be vanquished.

Philip Bobbitt teaches at the University of Texas and at Columbia University, where he is the director for the Center for National Security. He has served in a number of government posts, and has been a member of the National Security Council. Bobbitt’s most recent book is Terror and Consent: The Wars for the 21st Century.
