WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The Department of Homeland Security will hire up to 1,000 cybersecurity experts over the next three years to help protect U.S. computer networks, an Obama administration official said.
"Cybersecurity is one of our most urgent priorities," said Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano in making the announcement Thursday.

My Comment: From my experience, the best computer geeks/hackers/specialists do not conform nor function well in a rigid government organization. But hell .... it appears that DHS does not care .... their quota is 1,000 and that's it.
