Obama: 'No One Party Will Be Able To Dictate Where We Go From Here' -- USA Today
President Obama entered the new political world today by saying he is humbled by the "shellacking" his party took in Tuesday's elections, and that he wants to work with victorious Republicans on the nation's problems.
At the same time, Obama stuck to his guns on such contentious items as health care, environmental, energy, and tax policies. And he stressed that "no one party will be able to dictate where we go from here."
