Syrian Rebels Recover At Least 108 Bodies From Aleppo Waterway -- The Guardian

Aleppo floodwaters recede revealing scores of 'executed' men in one of biggest massacres in war-stricken city

Rebel groups in Aleppo have recovered at least 108 bodies from a waterway in the south of the city and say many more are yet to be dragged out, in what appears to be one of the biggest massacres to have taken place in the war-ravaged city.

A video filmed by one of the rescuers and posted online on Tuesday shows rows of bodies, most of them young men, with their hands tied behind their backs and a single bullet wound to their heads. The graphic footage shows blood seeping from the corpses across silt left on a concrete bank by recent floodwaters that have since receded into the canal below.

Rebel groups at the scene say they expect the final death toll could reach 120.
