U.S. F-16 Fighter Jet And Small Plane Have Collided Over South Carolina



Reuters: U.S. military jet, small plane collide, crash in South Carolina

A U.S. military fighter jet and a small plane collided over South Carolina, the Federal Aviation Administration said on Tuesday.

The collision involved an F-16 fighter aircraft and a Cessna C-150, the FAA said in a statement. It occurred about 11 miles north of Charleston.

The agency said the crash occurred about 11 a.m. No additional information was immediately released.
