United Nations: Sexual Violence In War Zones At ‘Worst Ever’

The Guardian: Sexual violence in war zones at ‘worst ever’ as drive to protect women falters

  1. So let's have a war.

Seriously, a UN program is bogus.

Break heads 1st, gain control of the space, and then have a program & a prosecutions will mean something.

It is like Sally Struthers and famine relief. It is a joke. It made sense in the 1970s and 1980s, but people started to think is this famine relief 2.0, 3.0,.... n.0.

Sally Struither is now more a sarcastic meme than effective.

  2. I can't help but wonder if guys like Weinstein read news like this and think to themselves "damn, how can I get in on all that raping and molesting action in war zones" (and probably are close to booking a ticket).
    Half joking, of course...but still.
