The tragic episode that caused the death of 15 Russian air force personnel has had immediate repercussions on the situation in Syria and the Middle East. On September 24, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu informed allies and opponents that the delivery of the S-300 air-defense systems to the Syrian Arab Republic had been approved by President Vladimir Putin. The delivery had been delayed and then suspended as a result of Israeli pressure back in 2013.

WNU editor: A lot of "what ifs" in the above article. But if the S-300 is able to track the F-35 .... and also be able to shoot one down. Lockheed Martin and the Air Force are going to be forced to answer a lot of uncomfortable questions.

The S-300 is a good product, yes, but has no luck with the F-35 or F-22. It is a very good defense against 4th generation plane, that's it. The S-400 is more suited for the "stealth" aircraft.
ReplyDeleteWe are focusing on the S-300, but the real threat is the jamming system. I don't know which one they send to Syria either the Krasukha-2 or the Krasukha-4, but the last one is just killing. The only weapon it cannot disturb is the laser bomb/missile.
