Update: Trudeau seeks support from allies at G20 amid China-Canada dispute (City News)
WNU Editor: The Canadian Prime Minister's office has been pushing for such a meeting for weeks .... Trudeau looks to meet with Chinese president at G20 (CBC). I know that the Canadian Prime Minister is not going to get his meeting. To put it bluntly, the Chinese do not respect the Prime Minister, as I pointed out in this post three years ago .... China's Foreign Minister Demanded A Meeting With Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau (And He Got It!!!!) (June 3, 2016), and the unofficial Chinese government policy right now is to "snub him" .... China Is Snubbing Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau (June 13, 2019). But there are opportunities for Prime Minister Trudeau to talk to President Xi at the G20. Leaders always have the opportunity to approach other leaders at the G20 outside the conference hall during breaks. That is actually where a lot of good diplomacy and discussions take place. I know that President Xi is not going to approach Prime Minister Trudeau, but will Prime Minister Trudeau take the initiative to approach President Xi? I would advise him to do so, but my bet is that he will not.
Why would Chairman Xi initiate a conversation with Trudeau? Xi and most of the world knows the Canadian PM is little more than a vassal for U.S. and corrupt Canadian interests.
ReplyDeleteAnd where is Freeland? Usually she is running her mouth a mile a minute when an opportunity to raise her profile such as this arises. The reptilian Canadian media continues to play softball with the wolf bitch. She should be grilled on this (and other issues).
The truth is, to the detriment of Canada, they are both way out of their depth.
This is what happens when one or the other factions ruining the U.S., in league with Canadian bandits, picks your PM (blessed by Obama no-less) and Galicia picks your FM.
No respect and no brains.
Sounds like Anon would just love for Canada and the US to follow Russia, China and other populations, in lockstep, into the authoritarian and fascist column. Don’t question the autocrats. You are a precious hater, and wouldn’t that just clip our rights to free speech, press and assembly. So keep, knocking the ‘democratic ways’, and soon we can all live under authoritarians. How nice!
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear you loathe fascism.
DeletePlease join us in trashing SS Galicia's "Canadian" FM.
Look up Freeland/Chomiak.

ReplyDeleteThat's quite the strawman you just foisted upon him though. "You don't like my puppet? You must hate democracy!"
Michael Ignatieff laid bare the process for being picked as the Liberal candidate after the process chewed him up and spit him out. A caravan of black SUVs full of party officials, lobbyists and american intelligence agents arrived at his Harvard office and already had his campaign planned out for him. Now that sounds quintessentially Canadian, doesn't it?
Offer to extradite an American visiting Canada to even things up.
