Was U.S. Ambassador Gordon Sondland Intimidated To Give The Testimony That He Gave Today?

Daily Beast: People Are Absolutely Savaging Gordon Sondland’s Hotels on Yelp

Establishments owned by Provenance Hotels are getting spammed with bad reviews as the man who once owned them gets embroiled in impeachment drama.

Gordon Sondland keeps getting bad reviews.

The U.S. ambassador to the European Union has been caught in the crosshairs of Democrats investigating President Trump’s associates in the impeachment inquiry, as more evidence has come to light that he enabled a quid-pro-quo arrangement with Ukrainian officials. And now, as his political troubles have worsened, so too have those affecting his business.

Reviewers on Yelp are taking out their anger with Sondland by leaving one-star ratings for the hotels to which he is linked.

Update: Oregon's Democratic U.S. Rep. Earl Blumenauer Calls For Boycott Of Gordon Sondland's Hotels. Sondland Pushes Back. (OPB)

WNU Editor: The media focus for the past few weeks has been on concerns that witnesses testifying against President Trump may be intimidated/threatened. Not much coverage on what is happening to people like Amb. Sondland. And the ones in the media who are covering these intimidation tactics against Trump officials like Sondland (like the above Daily Beast story), are publicizing these tactics with no criticisms. Will these people (like Oregon's Democratic U.S. Rep. Earl Blumenauer) be charged for witness tampering. I doubt it. Double standard at play. You betcha.

  1. this post rabble-rousing. Sondland testifying under oath...not in how the screaming crowd wants...If he is lying, jail time...that Trump supporters are screaming or protesting is not relevant

It is clear intimidation. Liberals have boycotted multiple businesses from Chik-a-fil, In & Out Burger, and others.

They have also stopped business from starting like a competitor to Twitter by denying them servers.

Liberals have gotten use to boycotting businesses and they have gotten results.

So when a Democrat Congressmen says to boycott your business, you have to believe them.

We can see the picket signs for ourselves. Who do we believe, you or our eyes? If bookings are down yoy and more than industry average, I would say that is p[roof.

A complaint has been filed against the Congressmen. He might soon find himself in court.

  3. "In 1985, Sondland raised $7.8 million from friends and his wealthy brother-in-law and purchased the Roosevelt Hotel, a bankrupt Seattle hotel." - Wiki

Sondland knows something. He is a self made man.

"Sondland was born to a Jewish family in Seattle, Washington, the son of Frieda (Piepsch) and Gunther Sondland. His mother fled Germany before the Second World War to Uruguay, where after the war she reunited with his father, who had served in the French Foreign Legion. In 1953, the Sondlands relocated to Seattle where they opened a dry-cleaning business."

Sondland is a real Jew unlike some people.

  4. Any reasonable person should shun Portland. Never visit and for damn sure never invest!

But it sure looks like full on witness intimidation and that Marxist House Rep. Blumenauer looks to be deeply involved in it.
