How much do you want to bet that Iran's medical system has been compromised by US sanctions and therefore the Iranian ability to track and contain such an outbreak has been compromised.

Could apply to the Do-or, or the Do-ee depending on who the "Mine" entity favors. Most likely both, you know, just for laughs in the universal scheme of things.

After all, good is evil seen from the other side.

Carl,

It would seem that having as the centerpiece of foreign policy "death to America" and "death to Israel" may have had real world dire consequences. While sanctions can have an effect against small countries who don't have allies, Iran is a large country with numerous and powerful allies. As such, sanctions against Iran shouldn't have been effective. I credit extraordinary diplomacy on the part of the Trump administration to keep this in effect. Of course stupid actions on the part of Iran such as attacking the shipping of their Eurooean allies couldn't have helped.

They could turn to their Chinese allies here. Oh wait, China has their hands full with this. On the other hand, the US is doing quite well so far at containing this. Maybe they could reach out to America in respect but I'm under no illusions.

Something to think about. If a vaccine is to be found, it's likely to be an American or an Israeli Jew who develops it. Also, should this come down to a major problem it's likely to be the Americans or the Israelis who solve the problem. Maybe Iran should jettison its "death to America" and "death to Israel" policies.

On this I agree. They are foolish to threaten and should stop because if nothing else it gives their "enemy", in this case the US so called "provocation". Instead if they feel they really have the power to kill, destroy they should use it. Likely they know their shortcomings and fallback on traditional threats to incite their people.

The US rarely if ever threatens and when they do it is never such blatant showmanship. The US prefers to invade through backdoor channels, weakening the future enemy with subversive activities, then if they can't get a
US friendly government/dictator in place, invade or simply bomb. A much more successful approach.
