Half A Million Traveled From China To The U.S. At The Height Of The COVID-19 Pandemic Outbreak

New York Times: 430,000 People Have Traveled From China to U.S. Since Coronavirus Surfaced

There were 1,300 direct flights to 17 cities before President Trump’s travel restrictions. Since then, nearly 40,000 Americans and other authorized travelers have made the trip, some this past week and many with spotty screening.

Since Chinese officials disclosed the outbreak of a mysterious pneumonialike illness to international health officials on New Year’s Eve, at least 430,000 people have arrived in the United States on direct flights from China, including nearly 40,000 in the two months after President Trump imposed restrictions on such travel, according to an analysis of data collected in both countries.

The bulk of the passengers, who were of multiple nationalities, arrived in January, at airports in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Seattle, Newark and Detroit. Thousands of them flew directly from Wuhan, the center of the coronavirus outbreak, as American public health officials were only beginning to assess the risks to the United States.

  1. The LAX flights show that the nature of the cities affect the spread. NYC has trains. LA does not (at least not many at all). LA is more spread out than the prison NYC.

All these point out to why we should not have great parts of the nation on lockdown, just because Democrats say so.

  2. I personally know Chinese who just got out and had own cases in their village etc.. This happened all over the World - Chinese returning with a virus brought from China.

  3. Victor Davis Hanson provided some interesting statistics last Thursday. There are 760 deaths is CA per day - from any cause. Add in the Wuhan flu and you increase the rate to about 766 per day. CA has 40 million people. The current death toll then was 250. (321 today). NY has just under half the population if CA yet a thousand time more deaths. Why?

Even with the largest Asian populations outside Asia and with thousands flying in from China during the time frame indicated in the above post, CA has among the lowest death tolls in the nation. About three per one million. Again, why?

Here's another interesting theory. CA has attained "herd immunity". (Possibly Washington as well) With the largest Asian populations outside Asia, many (millions) of Californians likely contracted Covid 19 as early as December and didn't even know it. They felt sick - as people do during this time of year. And then they got over it and went about their business.

The numbers of sick and dying from this virus are minuscule relative to the general population. The hotspots are concentrated in high density urban centers. Large cities with high rates of tobacco use, obesity and diabetes.

I would like to see an ACCURATE demographic and health-profile specific breakdown of who is most negatively affected by this disease. The results would surprise no one. But with the hyper-politicization of the the Wuhan Flu, that will likely prove impossible. To even ask the question will be branded racist - thereby without a doubt indicating the people most hurt by the virus are minorities. Thereby again applying a one size fits all approach to treatment that ignores obvious demographic vulnerabilities. //So lets just commit national suicide so we can feel better about the whole thing.

And the sooner we remove people like Dr. Anthony Fauci from economic and political decisions the better.

  4. This Is Fraud: Per CDC Regulations Death of Omaha Man in His 80s on Hospice Care with Several Underlying Conditions is Determined COVID-19 Infection

I would agree that corona was the straw that broke this unfortunate man's back.

I would also argue that influenza, the common cold could have also have done it at at his health level almost any and every additional 'insult' would have done him in.

To list corona as the sole factor is fraud. It is evil.

This type of gaming the system to get federal funding is a measure or corruptness of the American moral fabric. This gaming the system goes on in other countries to greater or lesser extent. I am not arguing that. What I am arguing in part is that, when psycho- historians out their finger on what went wrong, this will be an element in their matrices.

Plus we are being sold down the river with people with their rice bowls out. These people include politicians, bureaucrats, electorates, and the press.
