Russian M-8 Copper Flies Directly Over A U.S. Military Convoy In Syria

AMN: Watch: Russian chopper flies directly over US military in Syria

Since the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reached a military agreement in September 2019, the Russian military has had access to several areas across the northern region of Syria.

In turn, the Russian military has found themselves competing with the U.S. over different parts of the strategic M-4 Highway (Latakia-Hasakah Highway) that stretches across the northern part of the country.

The Russian military has even headquartered a large number of their forces in Syria at the Qamishli Airport, which is close to the U.S. Armed Forces in the Al-Hasakah Governorate.

WNU Editor: The Russians are saying hello to the Americans.

  1. Oh, there will be a 'hello back' if they push it too far. Remember when the Russians tried to storm a US base and how little media cover it got? 200 or so Russians wiped out, 0 US losses.

So, the Russians still have a lot of freedom in my book to be a bit aggressive still. It was likely an error or aggressiveness (likely both) during the first 200:0 confrontation, I just hope they will restrain a bit more. But I can understand them.
