The US Air Force is believed to be preparing to test a hypersonic missile for the first time at the Naval Air Station Point Mugu outside of Los Angeles.
The debut flight of the the AGM-183A Air-Launched Rapid Response Weapon (or ARRW), expected on Tuesday or Wednesday, is being hailed as a major step forward as the Pentagon seeks to maintain its technological advantage against adversaries China and Russia.
The mission will be conducted by a B-52H bomber which carries the AGM-183A missile high into the air and launches it at more than five times the speed of sound.

If the supply system or any other bureaucracy on the military is that hide bound, maybe that military has no business going to war?
You probably have the same suppliers for men's and women's underwear. You make up a new part number for ordering purposes. If the military cannot make up a new part number, it should be disbanded.
I think Major Tamara Moser is part of the problem. She is making a production out of it. There are clothing and fabric standard out there. She could crib off of the Germans, French or Italians. Does not make for as good of a story compared to taking years and calling your office "Army and Women Inclusion"
Heck ,they could get an exchange officer who had sat-in on uniform committees and have this whole thing done in a week or a few months,. Any American would give their left nut or left ovary to be an exchange officer in Switzerland.
