Afghanistan's Banking Crisis Gets Worse (Video)

WNU Editor: I experienced the same thing in Russia in the early 1990s in the middle of its banking crisis. I still remember waiting in line for 4 hours at my bank in Moscow, and when I finally got to the teller I was told that I could only withdraw $100 US dollars (I had about $3500 US in my account). A few days later the bank closed permanently. This is an experience that I will not want to wish on anyone.

So did the government reimburse you eventually?
