The final American plane left Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul on Monday night, just short of the August 31 withdrawal deadline. I wonder what constituted sabotage? Was it organized and methodical - remove A, B, and C, cut D, E, and F - or was it a frantic mess of telling soldiers to figure it out amidst more pressing chaos...? I don't know anything about the systems here but would be interesting to see if all the blackhawks were sabotaged in a specific way, little birds, etc.
I read an account of the evacuation at Bagram where they simply took the keys to the vehicles and that was it. Anyone else have thoughts?
