Why Has President Biden Ignored This Weekend's Historic Space Flight By SpaceX And Four Civilians?

Elon Musk mocked President Joe Biden to explain why the president never acknowledged the completion of a historic SpaceX mission over the weekend. 

“He’s still sleeping,” Musk tweeted regarding Biden’s silence Sunday. 

On Saturday, SpaceX completed the first-ever civilian mission into outer space, the company announced. 

The four-person civilian crew orbited Earth on the Dragon spaceship for three days before returning and splashing down safely off the coast of Florida. 

The Dragon and its crew orbited at a distance of 575 km from Earth, which is more than 150 km further into space than the International Space Station (ISS), SpaceX said.

WNU Editor: This trip was watched and praised around the world this weekend. 

I watched it as much as I could, and applauded the entire effort when they accomplished their mission on Saturday. 

When SpaceX sent astronauts in 2020 for the first time since 2011 President Trump attended the event. He understood why it was important. 

But this time around, with an even bigger milestone being reached, a perplexing silence from the White House. Makes me wonder on how much of a cocoon has been put around the President, and how out of touch his staff must be to not even have the President acknowledged what happened with even a simple tweet.

    Someone might think that sending 4 civilians up is a publicity stunt. Okay, so what. Sometimes advertisement and showmanship is needed. Also there is a little envy.

    But look at it this way. It shows that you do not need years and years of training. It makes space travel more democratic.

    Aahz told Skeeve the prevects had not actually eaten the other dimensional travelers. IT was just a rumor to scare them off, but there was a glint in his eye. Just enough to keep them honest.
