I am very doubtful of the headline. I don't believe Russia and China are attacking US satellites "everyday". The only support for this headline is the following statement from the news story:
Some of the regular attacks facing the US include the use of lasers, radio frequency jamming and other cyberattacks, Thompson said.
I think this is bullshit scare tactics and exaggeration because of the following:
1) There was no quote used, which means Thompson didn't actually say that.
2) There was not one single example provided of a specific satellite that was attacked by a laser, etc. or when.
Treat what you read in the press with a lot of skepticism, is my advice.
One year to 5 years ago, it was Orange Man bad and not much else. Now we have some variety in the news. I would think there are 3 parts. Russia and China are doing shit. The press is not as anally focused on tearing down Trump and the Nuland crowd is at the table.
