The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that the Omicron coronavirus variant poses a high risk of infection surges around the globe.
The variant could lead to severe consequences in some regions, the WHO said on Monday. The head of the organisation, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, renewed a call for a global push to get vaccines to poorer nations.
Covid-19 is "not done with us" yet he warned.

Tedros is a bought man. He can be counted on to lie. Her does not sign the paycheck of the employees, but he does make hiring and firing decisions. So we can count on subordinates to lie or shade the truth also.
South Africa has an AIDS prevalence of around 13% or roughly 1 in every 7 people. Unless the antivirals taken for HIV also help with other viruses, would anyone be shocked, if they had a lot of deaths during flu season?
Another site, Avert, says it is 19% for people between 15 and 49.

Super duper high risk? Holy shit risky? Astonishingly high risk?
I mostly keep hearing and reading about "mild symptoms".
No cameras or similar should be allowed for these people to spew out their inaccuracies. Without a world wide camera maybe they will tone it down.

If indeed this version is a mild one there should be a large group of people who are naturally immune. Could this be the beginning of the natural end to this nuisance?
