The president was asked about how misinformed the Russian leader really is about his military’s performance in Ukraine.
President Joe Biden on Thursday offered a notable assessment of the state of Vladimir Putin’s inner circle of advisers, suggesting the Russian leader has “fired or put under house arrest” some of his confidants.
Biden, after speaking about his moves to lower U.S. energy prices, was asked about how misinformed the Russian leader really is about his military’s performance in Ukraine.
The president added that what he was about to say was not with absolute “certainty.”

Zelensky is telling him what to say and think. At times Zelensky and the Ukrainian government behave as though they are our colonial masters
Perhaps we should support them in their fight as we are. I would appreciate it if they respect us and not lecture us!! We are maxed out beyond measure to support them and are taking breathtaking risks to do this!!
The appropriate response to America is "thank you!!" Lecturing us and asking for more is not cool!!

Let's review some history. When Afghanistan began, the CIA did not think the Afghans could win, but the armed them anyway. They call it a bleeding operation. For little gold and no bodily risk for your part, you arm others to bleed your enemy. Problem is the weapon recipients bleed as well. It wasn't until 2 or 3 years into the Afghan War that the CIA and others thought that it could be won.
Did the CIA and the rest of the Washington establishment see Ukraine the same way? Is that why they were hesitant to go big with lethal assistance? I am somewhat convinced, when I see the lack of lethal aid given to Ukraine until a very late hour.

Being accused of not being "cool" isn't the worst insult. After all the "cool kids" have royally messed things up. I'm not sure I want to be associated with them.
First of all I'm glad Afghanistan worked out for us. While there may be similarities, I see vast differences. If we're paying attention and tried not to be blinded ideology, it becomes our apparent that our involvement is MUCH greater than we're generally bring told by the media.
I would also add that when we support one side with weapons we become 100% directly involved and a legitimate target for an adversary. These better be a VERY GOOD reason for. I'd say sacrificing people for no good reason isn't "cool."
"Russians influencer?" This has become the line partoted by the leadership class when their questioned. As the inevitable Russian victory becomes more and more apparent whether we like it or not, our government's policy becomes more and more untenable and places our loved ones at even greater risks. All you have are insults.
A better approach would've been to take the approach of the "neutrals" such as India. Take the time and make the effort to properly assess the situation. Then you are in a position to properly formulate policies.
The "neutrals" appear to have reached the conclusion Russia is going to win. Furthermore countries such as India, Brazil, and most of the others identify culturally and in terms of values much more closely with Russia than they do with America.
I anticipate a decisive break in the direction of Russia by these nations in the coming weeks. Proper polices should be formulated and implemented accordingly.
I don't pay much attention to Tucker. While I may not agree with what he says, he does at least make a serious effort to analyze this. In contrast, the msm is worthless being little more than the Zelensky fan club.
While I hope Ukraine wins, I don't think it's likely. Ti base policy on such unlikely events doesn't seem prudent and places us in even greater peril.
