New York Post: Biden staffers met with Special Counsel Jack Smith’s aides before Trump indictment
The White House counsel’s office met with a top aide to Special Counsel Jack Smith just weeks before he brought charges against former President Trump for allegedly mishandling classified documents — raising serious concerns about coordinated legal efforts aimed at President Biden’s likely opponent in 2024.
Jay Bratt, who joined the special counsel team in November 2022, shortly after it was formed, took a meeting in the White House on March 31, 2023, with Caroline Saba, deputy chief of staff for the White House counsel’s office, White House visitor logs show.
They were joined in the 10 a.m. meeting by Danielle Ray, an FBI agent in the Washington field office. Nine weeks later, Trump was indicted by Smith’s office on June 8, 2023.

Update: Weaponized Collusion? Jack Smith's Team Huddled With Biden White House Before Trump Indictment (Zero Hedge)
WNU Editor: The optics of the White House counsel’s office meeting with a top aide to Special Counsel Jack Smith just weeks before he brought charges against former President Trump are horrible. And the kicker is that the US Justice Department and the White House are not even hiding on how they are coordinating their legal efforts aimed at President Biden’s likely opponent in 2024.
This is a guy who held back a loan unless Ukraine fired a prosecutor who was investigating his family business in the Ukraine. . Of course he met with the prosecutorial team. A surprise no. These people suck
ReplyDeleteTo anyone supporting this corruption, you need to be sent to the Ukrainian front line, as you are the true enemy of democracy and freedom.
ReplyDeletethere is an indictment. The trial or trials will indicate guilt or innocense and not who met with whom etc.So-called optics are not the same thing as proof and facts.Example: Trump held a private meeting with Putin and we have no record of what was said and no notes available. This unusual meeting had optics that were most unusual.
ReplyDeleteA prosecutor for US Attorney from Delaware Dave Weiss emailed Joe Biden’s secret email account and gushed about how much he loved the Biden family.
ReplyDeleteSoon to be a XXX Logo TV movie starring Alexander Mackler and a male Biden family member?
Sounds really sloppy wet
"there is an indictment."
ReplyDeleteYou can indict a ham sandwich.
Conviction?
If you can pack a jury, you can buy or engineer a conviction.
If you can pack a court and Democrats talk about it openly all the time, you can pack a jury.
Trump did not hold a strictly private meeting.
There was an interpreter.
If Trump committed treason, don't you think the interpreter would have reported it by now?
8:57
Foreign Troll or Deranged Drooling Democrat? Distinction without difference?
What is unusual, is how stupid 8:57 is.
there was an interpreter? and what did that person reveal about the meeting and who was it and what happened to that person?
ReplyDeleteindictment is simply a call for a trial. The jury decides. There are 4 different locations for charges of various kinds, and two of the 4 are in red states and the one in Miami is a Trump appointed judge.
you can offer all the so called explanations possible but even if found guilty in any or all of the 4 trials, there is the appeal preocess and that includes the very conservative supreme court. How is that for optics!
and the anon writer for the anon site cites for full information Rudy G! who is the liar consistently involved in the attempt to overturn the election, the guy who is soon to be on trial and the man soon to lose his law license...talk optics?
ReplyDelete9:26 = 9:30
ReplyDeleteLets give them the reporting name of "unCap"
Add to it the strat of replying right back. replying with nothing but airballs, but to a casual observer it looks like they have a leg to stand on, which they don't
You've already be answered. Packed courts and the ability to indict a ham sandwich proves only one thing. Political power. Not was actually is.
you tell us of packed courts when we do not even have a jury date for a trial let alone a jury...you tell us all that MIGHT take place but show us when it does take place and not what might happen to fix the outcome, both at the trial and all the appeals! you are simply being silly
ReplyDeletethe indictment in Miami is with a Trump appointed judge in a Red state. The trial that may take place in Georgia is in a Red state. But what does it matter? you will go on with your fantasy no matter what and after all Trump really won the election, right?
ReplyDeleteyou tell us of packed courts... <<< I will pretend to be stupid strat
ReplyDeleteDemocrats unveil plan to pack Supreme Court with 13 justices
Why Democrats Packed the Court - WSJ
etc etc.
The Democrats have not packed every court but they are trying.
Jack Smith has broken the law by having a grand jury in a jurisdiction different than the jurisdiction where the case will be tried. That is Jack Smith went jury shopping for a grand jury.
Jury shopping is wrong, but what does a russian pig (9:57 = 10:02) know about right and wrong?
Packed courts can affect case before they go to trial. It affect the types of judges available. Chutkhan for example is an Obama judge who is a communist. There is no way she should be a judge yet she is.
Chutkhan as judge is one more reason why Russia should be nuked.
The indictment was in DC with the trial to be in Miami.
stop being such an asshole. Chukhan is a communist? give youre proof. Is she a card carrying member of the communist party? Is that illegal in the US? Biden refused to pack the court so you are again wrong. So what if she is Obama appointed? the judge in Miami is Trump appointed. Two of the Supreme Court are Trump appointed. You are a fool.
ReplyDeleteChutkan's ancestor ran a dock strike during WW2 for Russia. That is how her family supported the war effort against the evil NAZIs.
ReplyDeleteApple does not fall far from the tree. As Showalter wrote unless you explicitly repudiate it, you are one.
There is not a dime's worth of difference between a socialist and a communist except for timing. Look who appointed her. Look who she married. Look who she socializes with.
No, she is a communist.
